Title : Google Nexus 7 Android tablet by ASUS - first look from I/O 2012

Description:

During the keynote session of the Google I/O 2012 developer conference, Google unveiled the new Nexus 7 tablet. Long-rumored but never confirmed until now, the Nexus 7 tablet is the first tablet to carry Google's own branding, much as it has done with the Nexus line of smartphones.
Google partnered with ASUS to build the 7-inch tablet, which features a 1280 x 800 pixel display and an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor with 12 graphics processing cores. The Nexus 7 has a front-facing camera, but lacks a rear camera. Google claims that the Nexus 7 offers 9 hours of HD video playback with its included battery. The Nexus 7 also features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivity. The Nexus 7 weighs 340g and Google insists that it fits comfortably in one hand.
The Nexus 7 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. It features improved performance, better notifications, and a totally revamped search function. For the Nexus 7, Google also offers new widgets to recommend new content available in the Google Play Store to users. The Nexus 7 is also the first devices to ship with the Chrome for Android browser as its default browser option.
The Google Nexus is available to order through the Google Play Store in 8GB and 16GB configurations for $199 and $249, respectively. It also includes a $25 credit to the Google Play Store. Google says that the Nexus 7 will ship in mid-July and it is available to the U.S., Canada, UK, and Australia, with more countries to be added in the near future.
